CSA Certification: Customs Self-Assessment (CSA) is a type of certification that allows pre-approved carriers to easily bring goods into Canada.

Freight Brokers: Freight brokers are transportation intermediaries between shippers and carriers.

Freight Matching: Freight matching is when shippers and carriers are paired to deliver freight

LTL Shipments: This stands for Less-Than-Truckload, which is when a truck is carrying less cargo than a full truckload weight for a customer

PIP: Partners in Protection (PIP) is a Canadian program to enhance border and trade security against organized crime and terrorism.

Reefer: This is industry slang for refrigerated trailers, which are trucks that have a cooling unit. They are often used to deliver perishable goods such as food or medication.

TL Shipments: This stands for Truckload or a full trailer load of freight. In other words, a full truck of cargo.
