Brampton-based Avaal Technology has just acquired some additional legroom.
The local firm, which provides IT solutions to the transportation industry, has announced the opening a second office in Surrey, B.C.
Avaal officials say the new location, at 302-17665 66A Avenue in Surrey, was strategically placed in the heart of the B.C. trucking community in order to help the company expand its reach in Canada.
A grand opening ceremony is planned from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. July 24 and will be attended by Avaal president and CEO Dara Nagra, as well as local government delegates and industry leaders.
Avaal will also be offering its Dispatch Specialist course from the new Surrey office starting July 26. The course will run from Monday to Friday, with classes scheduled in the evening from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Avaal’s head office is located at 2 Automatic Rd., Unit 110, in Brampton.
