Avaal Technology celebrates the completion of its 30th Successful Batch in the Dispatch Specialist course

Brampton, ON -- June 15, 2008 - Avaal Technology reached a new milestone this Sunday with its Dispatch Specialist program. A graduation ceremony was held for the 30th batch of students to successfully complete the course. The graduating students took part in a 40 hour program where they experienced both classroom and actual hands-on job training to prepare them for their future careers. The course modules introduce innovative techniques to effectively launch and operate small to large scale trucking companies with an emphasis on strategic business management. Key modules include freight matching, route optimization, border crossing, and obtaining freight contracts. Avaal trains students on TransCore’s 3sixty line of software solutions. The computer based applications are designed to streamline the fleet management process, and ultimately help companies increase profit levels. Shortly after the ceremony, students and guests were served lunch by the Avaal staff and participated in a group photograph session. Graduates from the 30th batch included Gurvinder Singh Aulakh, Dalbir Singh Sidhu, Nishad Kulkarni, Devdatta Kulkarni, Jasbir Khinda, Rajwinder Longia, Moazzam Tariq, Mandip Singh Sahota, and Abdolreza Goudarzi.
On June 9, 2008, Avaal announced the release of a new version of its ACE E-manifest online portal. This Version 4.0 features many improvements, including optimization for LTL shipping, reductions in manual data entry, faster response times, in-bond shipments, email notification, and a simplified interface. Carriers will be able to easily manage large fleets of trucks carrying hundreds of shipments per month.
Avaal’s Summer Camp for youth is now under way. A variety of programs are available for ages from 6 to 17. Children can explore the world of computers in a fun, relaxed environment while learning valuable skills in MS Office software or flexing their creativity in web design, animation, and creating video games. New sessions start every week throughout the summer months.
