Avaal Technology celebrates the completion of its 23rd Successful Batch in the Dispatch Specialist course

- On Sunday Dec 2nd, excitement filled the air as the Avaal Institute honored the accomplishments of their students at their 23rd graduation ceremony. Since its launch, The Avaal Dispatch Specialist Course has successfully opened new doors for students from varying age groups and ethnicities. To date over 400 students have graduated and several have become CEOs of their own successful trucking companies, or obtained high-ranking positions within leading logistics firms. The Dispatch Specialist Course has gained tremendous recognition throughout the trucking industry and has experienced exponential growth since its initial launch. Avaal, in partnership with TransCore, teaches individuals how to implement technology to increase operational efficiency within organizations and trains students on TransCore’s 3sixty line of software solutions. Students learn several key modules including, freight matching, route optimization, border crossing, and obtaining freight contracts. The course modules introduce innovative techniques to effectively launch and operate small to large scale trucking companies with an emphasis on strategic business management. According to the Canadian Trucking Human Resources Council, the trucking industry is expanding at approximately five percent annually across North America, so a career in trucking logistics offers an opportunity with growth potential.
Sukhminder Singh Hansra , Editor of the Punjabi Daily Newspaper presided over the ceremony and expressed great appreciation towards all the guests and students who participated in the event. Dara Nagra awarded a special prize to Sandeep Sangha for winning the classroom training contest. The contest involved finding a profitable load with maximum paid miles. Special guest, Melroy Coelho, Product Marketing Manager of Transcore Link Logistics expressed tremendous gratitude towards Avaal and students for inviting him, and provided students with a motivational speech, emphasizing the importance of education in today’s society. Other special guests included Manan Gupta & Vikas Gupta of Road Today Magazine. Shortly after the ceremony, students and guests were served as per request a traditional Indian lunch by Avaal staff members and proceeded to participate in a group photograph session. Graduates from the 23rd ceremony included; Sandeep Sangha, Arvin Malhi, Adbul Azeem Khan, Kamalpreet Dhamrait, Harman M. Singh, Amanpal Dhaliwal, Gurminder Samra, Gurmeet Kaur, and Bindu Gaur.
Avaal is excited to announce that Mr. Raheel Javaid, has joined the management team. He will bring a wealth of technology and management skills leading Avaal’s efforts towards Logistics consulting, C-TPAT certification and operations optimization. From Dec 15th Avaal will begin admission for the 1 year diploma program for logistics management. The course will commence from March 2008; international students are eligible to enroll in this program.
