Avaal Technology celebrates the graduation of its 10th West Coast class in the Dispatch Specialist Course

24 May 2011

Friday, May 20, 2011, Avaal completed the tenth batch of its ‘Trucking Dispatch Specialist Course’. Jim Hoyt, Karen West, Richard Tubbs, Kam Mann, and Jaskirat Brar (All the way from Edmonton, Alberta) were the students that successfully graduated this session. They gained knowledge about the transport industry, including government regulations and requirements, and how to manage trucking operations, from setting up as a company to dispatching, while maintaining great customer relations.

Avaal appreciates the support of Ijaz Chatha, Trustee of the Board of Education of Surrey. The Avaal team is very grateful that Mr. Chatha could take time out of his busy schedule to present the students with their certificates and share his life experiences.

After the graduation ceremony, wine and dinner was served by Avaal staff and was very much enjoyed by all. The evening was also a chance for students to mingle with the professionals in the industry and to make new relations.

Avaal believes in empowering people with the strength of knowledge and will continue to beat expectations. Below are a few comments from the newest gruadates;

“Great program to start a new company, even if you don’t have any trucking background.” - Kam Mann

“Great course, learned a lot. It showed me how much I didn’t know, but also how much I already do know. Than you.” - Karen West

Avaal's courses are designed by industry professionals and focus on face-to-face interaction in a workshop format. This delivers an invaluable learning environment for participants through case studies that will improve skills and understanding that can be applied quickly and confidently to improve bottom line performance.

Avaal Technology is a recognized Private Career College by the government of Canada and students may be eligible for government assistance. More information about educational programs and logistics services can be obtained by visiting the company website www.avaal.com.
