Avaal Technology celebrates the graduation of its 1st Vancouver class in the Dispatch Specialist Course

Avaal Technology opened a new chapter in its history on Friday, July 30th as it celebrated the graduation of the first successful batch of students at Avaal’s new branch office and training centre in Surrey, BC. The graduating class received certification in the Avaal Dispatch Specialist Course. Students took part in a 5 day program where they experienced both classroom and actual hands-on job training to prepare them for their future careers. The course modules introduce innovative techniques to effectively launch and operate small to large scale trucking companies with an emphasis on strategic business management. Key modules include freight matching, route optimization, border crossing, and obtaining freight contracts.

Graduates present for this momentous occasion included: Parvinder Sekhon, Sarb Purewal, Manmeet Kullar, Sylvie Lagueux, Taljinder Gill, Gurpreet Sandhu, Gurjinder Dhaliwal, Gurpreet Sekhon, Kulvir Sahota, and Rappinder Sangha. The graduation ceremony featured Chief Guest Jag Dhaliwal from Accord Transportation. Also present as guest speakers were Ron Dhaliwal from Desi Trucking Magazine and Hardeep Nagra from Sikh Youth Federation. After the ceremony, students and guests were served dinner by Avaal staff and participated in a group photograph session.
