Avaal Technology celebrates the completion of its 24th Successful Batch in the Dispatch Specialist course

26 Apr 2009

Brampton, ON -- December 30, 2007 - On Sunday Dec 30th, the Avaal Institute marked the coming year as it honored successful graduates. This was the 24th graduation ceremony of the Dispatch Specialist Course. In the last year, The Avaal Dispatch Specialist Course has opened new opportunities and career paths for over 200 students from varying age groups and ethnicities. Several students have obtained high-ranking positions within leading logistics firms including TransX. Avaal, in partnership with TransCore, teaches individuals how to implement technology to increase operational efficiency within organizations and trains students on TransCore’s 3sixty line of software solutions. The course modules introduce innovative techniques to effectively launch and operate small to large scale trucking companies with an emphasis on strategic business management.

Goldie Richmond, President of Audit Proof Transportation Services, was a special guest at the ceremony and expressed great appreciation towards all the guests and students who participated in the event. Shortly after the ceremony, students and guests were served lunch and proceeded to participate in a group photograph session. Graduates from the 24th ceremony included; Satpal Singh, Mehmet Cevirme, Syed Abbas, Baljinder Grewal, Pawan Monga, Gurdip Singh, Aamir Yaqoob, Harpreet Malhi, Kirpal Singh Lall, Anthony Brown, and Sarbjit Singh Sindhar.

For Avaal Technology, the past year has been a time of major expansion and growth. With the new mandated ACE electronic manifest system, carrier companies crossing the U.S. border must ensure that they transmit all cargo, crew, equipment and conveyance data to customs border officials prior to entry. Avaal’s E-Manifest service launched this year to simplify the process of manifest submission for carriers crossing the border. Avaal has also gained status as a certified Prometric Testing Centre. In an interview, Dara Nagra of Avaal expressed great enthusiasm when asked about this achievement. “We have worked very hard over the past few months to ensure our facility is designed to meet the strict standards which are required for certification.” International expansion has been another priority for Avaal, evidenced by its recent opening of a new office in Chandigarh, India.

From Jan 15th Avaal will begin admission for the 1 year diploma program for logistics management. The course will commence from March 2008; international students are eligible to enroll in this program.
