Brampton, ON -- June 17, 2007 - Sunday marked the completion of Avaal’s 17th Successful graduation ceremony for the Dispatch Specialist course. The event was held to commemorate students on their achievement in successfully completing the four week program. The course provides students with an in-depth look into the transportation sector and its various functions within the supply chain. To date, Avaal has graduated over 160 students and continues to gain tremendous momentum throughout the trucking industry. Last week’s ceremony witnessed the attendance of several media personalities, including a special guest appearance from Dr. Balwinder Singh, Host of Radio Sargam and Member of the Editorial Board of The Punjabi Daily Newspaper. Avaal presented Dr. Singh with a plaque in appreciation of his participation and support in the event. Other guests included such personalities as Dr. Ranvir Sharda who presided over the event and issued students their graduation certificate. Students and guests were then served lunch courtesy of the Avaal staff, and later proceeded to participate in a photograph session. In addition to its Dispatch Specialist Course, Avaal has also launched a one-year diploma program on the full supply chain and logistics management process. Students learn how to integrate technology and various software packages to effectively manage the daily operations of a large scale logistics enterprise. The course also focuses on implementing strategies to economize the integration between divisions in an organization while exploring the concept of supply chain management and its various elements. This program covers all modes of transport including, rail, ocean, road and air. Avaal’s name has spread across various frontiers, including India, where it has launched a full fledged marketing campaign to spread awareness of its program. The India branch which is located at SCO 282, 2nd Floor, Sector 32-D, Opp. Nirman Theatre Chandigarh 160 030 will help students complete the enrolment process for studying in Canada. Students in India that are interested in enrolling for the program are encouraged to contact a representative at 91-172-2668082. Earlier this year, Avaal had released development plans for the introduction of its Ace E-manifest software which would allow trucking companies to access a web portal to file the new mandated electronic manifests to the U.S customs and border agency (USCBP) prior to crossing. Earlier this week Avaal released an official statement, indicating that their portal would be open to public access later this week. The software is a completely plat-form independent, web based application which can be accessed directly from a web browser such as internet explorer. Individuals interested in using Avaal’s online software, can simply access the website, fill out a brief registration form and start filing manifests almost immediately. Avaal’s software has been implemented on high-level infrastructure to ensure minimal downtime, and zero-data loss. Furthermore, Avaal’s system utilizes a special security layer that encrypts all data transmitted to USCBP, to protect companies from unauthorized breeches and potential security threats when sending sensitive data. The web portal also offers several other administrative functionalities, such as the ability to manage company drivers, trucks, trailers, and shipments. Individuals can take a test run, and register for Avaal’s 30-day FREE trial! For company owners who are less technologically proficient, Avaal also offers a fax service, where transport companies can simply fax the paper-based manifest to an Avaal representative and have them file the electronic manifest. Avaal offer’s the most competitive pricing structure in the market and excellent customer service, in an effort to live up to its satisfaction guarantee.
