Receptionist

 

As a receptionist you should have the ability to be able to:

 

  • Answers incoming telephone lines and takes and relays messages as required. Receives visitors and directs them as appropriate.
  • Presents a positive company image in all internal and external contacts.
  • Performs routine typing and computer-related tasks and filing assignments for the Administrator and all department managers.
  • Carries out various clerical duties and prepares reports as required.
  • Maintains or assists in maintenance of resident and employee records and files.
  • May assist with the preparation and keying in of payroll, accounts and accounts payable data.
  • Sorts and directs incoming mail and processes outgoing mail to the post office.
