Supply Chain Management: Introduction

Students will explore the oversight of materials, information, and finances as they move between various cycles in the supply chain process. Effective integration and coordination between these cycles will also be analyzed, in addition to the goals of modern day organizations and the systems implemented to achieve overall targets. Students will examine the importance of web-based applications and their utilization as a tool for managing overall operations.

Students will also learn to develop algorithms to determine the most effective order processing technique, through the use of planning applications and execution applications. The role of SCM applications and their ability to effectively allocate resources within an organization will also be explored.
