Sending e-Manifests
Sending Manifests through Avaal's e-Manifest web portal is a very simple process. The application was designed to be used by individuals with little or no background in using computers. Through the development phase, the interface was tested and even the most novice computer users were able to generate a manifest in less then one-minute.
Avaal uses dynamic built-in logic to ensure all data inputted into the application is appropriate, and will not cause issues in the future. Furthermore, all data transmitted to USCBP is validated prior to submission, eliminating the possibility of unnecessary wait times at the border, due to clerical errors in creating manifests.
One of the main advantages in using Avaal's e-Manifest web portal is it's ability to store various types of information for later use. This includes, drivers, trucks, trailers, shippers, consignees, shipments and brokers. This allows users to simply assign stored data when creating manifests, and avoids unnecessary repetition of data entry when similar information is being transmitted for different manifests.
